Opening the case, you will see there is not much room to grow. There is an open PCIe x1 (the other is occupied by a TV tuner), and there are two open SATA ports to connect another optical drive or hard drive. These components add up to a machine operation powerful media (such as Photoshop and video editing), which also play games to the public mid-range. The H8-1050 we completed our test image in Photoshop CS5 2 minutes 57 seconds, with the Dell XPS x8300-5215NBK ($ 1,099.99 list, 4 stars). In Cinebench R11.5, both systems were only 0.6 points apart, the H8-1050 (6.82) is the larger of the two.
Involved, the H8-1050 was clearly the top of the machine. Comparing the Radeon HD 6850 GPU Radeon HD x8300 Dell XPS 5770 is not competition. The H8-1050 Won frame rates in our Crysis DirectX 10 (98.9frames per second) and Lost Planet 2 in DX11 (77.6fps) 1280 configuration by 720 resolution, like the Dell XPS x8300.
